Paul Copenhaver Motorsports is a family owned and operated business located in Lancaster, CA since the shop opened in 2000. PCM is a shop that builds NASCAR weekly series race cars that run at Irwindale Speedway, Las Vegas Bullring, Orange Show, Havasu 95 Speedway and I-10 Speedway. Paul Copenhaver started off his mechanical career by working at several Ford dealerships spanning a twenty year career. When he wasn’t working in the shop at Ford, he was volunteering his time by helping fellow racers at local tracks. With many requests, Paul opened his own shop and is now working full time maintaining race cars and acting as crew chief for several teams. As testament to Paul’s success, he has been noted as the force behind many drivers that have advanced to competing in the upper level divisions of NASCAR. Paul has been the recipient of a couple prestigious NASCAR awards; Craftsmen Mechanic of the Year in 2003 and Irwindale Speedway’s Crew Chief of the Year in 2005.
 
Here at PCM we are happy to have Ken Rohrer join the team. Ken is one of the finest fabricators this side of the Mississippi and a real asset to the shop.  Bryan Brown is not only the team spotter but he also helps out our race team at the track.  New to PCM in 2007 is Ron Esau (1986 Inaugural NASCAR Tour Champion) who is brought in to help with consulting and testing of the race cars. Also Ron lends his racing experience as Miles Copenhavers’ driving coach.  Miles is Paul’s son and has raced at Irwindale Speedway in the Super Truck division and is currently driving a late model stock car that is built and maintained by PCM. Miles is pursuing his dream of someday becoming a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver. Brent Copenhaver, Paul’s other son, works at PCM in the function of maintaining and repairing the race cars.  Miles and Brent are both part of the NASCAR late model race team. Another great addition to PCM has been Ed Bernardo of Bernardo Construction and Remodeling, Inc. Ed has a lot of experience stemming from a background in drag racing and truck driving.  Ed is the car chief that helps keep the team cars running strong and is also an all around hard working guy.
