Paul Copenhaver Motorsports has been a family owned and operated business located in Lancaster since the shop opened in 2000. PCM is a shop that builds NASCAR weekly series cars that run at Irwindale Speedway, Las Vegas Bullring and Orange Show, Havasu 95 Speedway and I-10 Speedway. Paul Copenhaver, the owner, started off his mechanical career by working at several Ford dealerships for twenty years. When he was not working he was volunteering his time helping fellow racers at local tracks. With Many requests Paul opened his own shop working full time maintaining and being a crew chief for several local racers. Through Paul’ssuccess he was approached by many drivers that later advanced to the upper levels of NASCAR. Paul received awards for Craftsman Mechanic of the year in 2003 and Irwindale Crew Chief of the year in 2005.
We are so happy to have Ken Rohrer one of the finest fabricators this side of the Mississippi working at our shop. Spotter Bryan Brown helps the team as well, he is one of the best spotters around. New PCM Team member is Ron Esau (1986 Inaugural NASCAR Tour Champion) for Consulting ,Testing and Miles Copenhaver coach. Paul’s two son’s Miles and Brent work at PCM, they help maintain and repair cars. Miles raced at Irwindale Speedway in the Super Truck division and is currently driving a late model car that has been built at the shop. Miles is pursuing his dream of someday becoming a NASCAR cup driver. Miles and Brent both are part of a NASCAR late model team. With lots experience in Drag racing, truck driving and general all around hard working guy, Ed Bernardo of Bernardo Construction and Remodeling, Inc. is the car chief and helps keep the team cars running strong. Recently the PCM Motorsports team traveled to the Havasu 95 Speedway and WON the first time at the track.
